I've just switched from having my whole pedal board run off a Daisy chain to using a Modtone Powerplant (like a Voodoo Labs PP2), But because the Powerplant has 7 outputs and I have 10 pedals, I've had to daisy chain 3 off my Pitchblack. I had an daisy chain with 8 right angle plugs, leaving 5 loose plugs - just a little too much mess for my OCD riddled brain. Wondering if I can just cut the unused ones off without it affecting the used ones?

They should all be in parallel, so snipping some loose shouldn't be an issue. You could try just one first. Snip it close to the middle, so there's room on either side to strip and splice it back together if necessary. Don't think it'll be a problem though.
It raises an important issue though. The barrel, or outside metal part of those plugs generally carry the +9V from the PSU. The metal cases of your pedals, OTOH, are connected to ground. Guess what happens when these contact each other. Yep, smoke! Some of these will come with covers for the unused ends, but electrical tape works just as well.
