What I really need is a wiring diagram for an HSS, 1 vol, 2 tone, + DPDT on/on/on switch, and a Schaller 5-way curved switch. Humbucker is a Duncan JB. I keep taking one step forward, and two steps back with this damn project. I'm not sure if the hot wire from the JB goes to the switch or the volume pot. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I assume that it's the series/parallel/split switch that's giving you fits, the rest can be pulled off of a regular SD wiring diagram. Here's unklmickey's version of the series/split/parallel switch: Note that the wiring is the same for both the standard series/parallel version and for the series/split/parallel version, the only thing that changes is the switch (i.e., on-on-on vs. on-on). Also note that the On-On-On version isn't rotationally symmetric- it matters which way is up when you wire it. So check the middle position with your meter and mark it in some fashion before wiring it up. The hot wire of the JB goes first to this switch, then from there to the 5-way, the V and T controls would then be wired off the 5-way in typical Strat fashion. Again, consult any Strat diagram. Actually, consult any SSS Strat diagram, since many HSS Strats split the HB at position 2- you don't want that since you'll have the separate switch to split the coil in both positions 1 and 2 if desired.

Thanks for that. :)I'm gonna try it. Failing this, I'll go back to the simpler on/on switch and call it a day. I just ordered some magnifying lights and loops off ebay so I can see what I'm doing. I think that's half the issue.
