In Cynical1's recent diagram, he had a DPDT Series/Parallel switch for a humbucker and an accompanying three-position "Single Coil" switch, selecting between the North coil, both coils, or the South coil. However, this coil-cut switch was only active in Series mode. I thought we could go one better with this. That coil-cut switch could be designed to work on both series and parallel using a DPDT On-On-On switch and a DPDT On/On switch. Was that last hour the best use of my time? No. Is this modification useful? Marginally. Nobody wants to briefly forget the switch logic, flip the switch for coil-cut in a hurry and find it isn't working. Other than that, this could be transposed into two single coils, say a Telecaster arrangement, for a series/parallel switch and a pickup selector switch. This can also be done using a three-way "blade" or "rotary" switch. This could be used with a two-pickup guitar and a push/pull pot, for example, to render the switchpot as a "mode selector," instead of overriding the selector switch as in a lot of mods.

You got my attention. And I happen to have two holes in the body already...hmmmmmm...
This I like. I believe this also simplifies my wiring from what I originally had drawn out.
I see a trip to Digi-Key in my near future.
Thanks...and a +1 to you, sir.
Happy Trails
