Howdy, What I did: Ok, I hope someone will help me here. I have an Epiphone Les Paul. I bought it new, but when I got it there were some problems with one of the pots. So I went ahead and bought all new electronics (CTS pots, Switchcraft switch and jack, Orange Drop caps and some nice shielded wiring). I even bought some copper tape and shielded all the inside and the covers as pointed out on the “GuitarNuts” website. Using the standard Les Paul schematic found here: I put it all together, grounded everything to one single point and then connected that to the copper shielding with a screw. It sounds great!! Now for the problem: I noticed that when turning down the volume (all the way) to either of the pickups and then switching to that pickup, I can still hear it. It is weak, but when adding distortion you can hear it as if it were at a normal volume. If you turn down both volumes then its quiet. What up with that? I am confused!! Can someone help me? NOTE: When looking at the schematic, I assumed that the pots in the picture were facing back side (back of pot) up. Storgers -
