OOOKAY. Im not an idiot or anything its just, after reading Numerous sites I still haven't found a basic definition or anything of what the ground wire does. Does it just complete the circuit? Why doesnt it shock you if its connected to the bridge? Any website references would be great. Sorry if you fell like this is a stupid forum. But i want to Fully understand this stuff.... thanks

Why doesnt it shock you if its connected to the bridge? Any website references would be great. Sorry if you fell like this is a stupid {question}. But i want to Fully understand this stuff.... thanks I can't answer the above (I'm still learning this stuff, too), but I wanted to say that "The only 'stupid' question is the one that goes unasked." (Especially for anything that might involve electrical safety!) You mention checking numerous sites, so here's what could be a "stupid question": Was one of them ? And remember, even if you don't know the answers (yet) to your questions above, you knew where to look for good answers. That's using the ol' noggin. -- Doug C.
