Hi,
I got a bunch of Fender S1 switches, pots and 5-ways (tripple-wafer wow!). Any one have a wiring diagram (or willing to take a photo of the inside of the SSS S1 enabled Stratocaster) as to what goes where?
Thanks.

Do you have access to any of the chrome dome knobs? Also, a "three-wafer" 5-way blade switch? Do you mean a SuperSwitch? If you want to do a straight up S-1 Strat wiring, I think I have a PDF on that. What specifically are you looking for? Chesh

Those S1 switches are pretty delux and unavailable in the aftermarket, at least in my searches. I believe it is a push/push 4PDt. Never actually seen one so I may be wrong. By "bunch" how many of the pushbutton switches do you have?
Nice find.

lbw,
If you look in my profile on the FDP Forum (yetanothermidlifecrisis), you'll see the schematic/wiring diagram that I traced from the early SSS one that I bought in Feb04.
I also have a 50th Am Dlx, but I haven't checked it to see if it differs (I've heard that there areat least two versions of SSS wiring afoot).
The S-1 is indeed a 4PDT switch.
Seriously, TRIPLE wafers? Must know more!!!

Ibw,
Wow to the "bunch" of S-1's AND the triple-wafers!
Interested in "cashing in" one of those S-1's or triple-wafers?

Hi Guys, Sorry, I was wrong, it's double wafer only. I only quickly looked at them in the packaging and the switch has both wafers on one side. I usually expect to see a wafer on each side of the switch so I incorrectly assumed they are tripple wafer. I spotted this when I took them out of the packaging today and actually had a look at them properly. I'll check out the diagram and see how I go. Sorry, they're not for sale Thanks.

I finally got around to doing this today and I have a question regarding it. Is the Fender SCN middle pickup RWRP? If not, I assume I need to flip ground and hot for the middle pickup? My guess is it is not RWRP as they're essentially humbuckers (single with dummy coil) but I don't have a set to test. Also, this mod is not very quieting the beast friendly. I'll be doing my best to integrate it but there are some ground loops! Thanks
