I dont jnow, but I dont think its really different from a tendency to pop. In either case, if there is a pop problem, a very high resistor from each cap to input could fix it. These would be like 4.7M or higher, and mean that no cap is ever fully disconnected, they are always connected at least through these resistors.
I also dont know about single pole switches like this.

OK. Do you know if they sell toggle analogues of these 8 pin DP3T switches?
