I always liked the old Yamaha solid state amps, I thought they had one of the more "natural" sounding SS amps around. But lately, Yamaha has pretty much been out of the guitar amp biz.
But I saw these new units in my local store last week, just out. Next week, I'm hoping to have a bit of extra time to try one out.
Portable, AA battery powered, stereo, modelling and fx- what's not to like?
There are 2 models, the THR 5 and THR 10. The 10 model offers a few more options and is a little bigger, but both have the same power and same speakers.
They also have a fake orange "tube glow". No word on price yet.
