In looking over John A.'s electrical safety page once again, I found that some of the GFCI products pictured with links on the left side are "temporarily unavailable" or completely out of stock. Re the one triple tap, Northern Tool said "Due to high demand, Item# 162383 is no longer available."
I did some Googling around, and found this: www.ericson.com/products/subcategory.asp?id=6. It has a good explanation of "the hows and whys of GFCIs."
Now I'm heading out to see what my local hardware store has in stock for GFCI triple taps and testers.
