Hi guys, I have some newbie type FX mod questions for you audio- electro boffins out there!
I was given a bunch of Marshall stomp boxes with various faults which I'm working through the plan being to make them work and if I like them modify them to my tastes, re-case them and convert them to true bypass for my pedal board, thus I get a set if free boutique stomp boxes.
What I need first is a little diagram showing me how to connect the stock inputs & outputs of the effect through a DPDT switch for true bypass. If it means wiring the effect permanently 'on' then switching the signal I will also need the status LED switching as well or it would be on all the time. Also a couple of the FX have stereo outputs.
Cheers, Buzz.

Buzzy- Sorry, I had to move your thread, but it didn't belong in the "effect schematics" section. No worries, we give newcomers a free pass for this sort of thing. Since some of this info is copyrighted, I won't repost the actual diagrams here, but this link to the General Guitar Gadgets has the info you seek. And, here's some other light reading on the topic: True Bypass Myths Debunked
