We've all seen the websites...$300 for a Les Paul knock off... I saw the Gibson Custom shop road show a few years ago..and vowed never to pay that much for a guitar...I took a chance with this one. It seems to be well built, the hardware and electronics are garbage. I replaced the tuners with klusons, new gotoh tune o matic and a tusq nut..It needs a pro set up..I dont have the equipment to dial in the intonation or the ear..but it plays nice and the upgraded hardware lets it sing. Its a maple cap and flamed veneer...frets need dressed, but thats all stuff we like to do...I saw a gold top too... ;D

So, is this is a real Les Paul, a Les Paul second or a genuine Les Pawl?
You can always SWAG the intonation pretty close with a decent electronic tuner. To be honest, my days of scoping a bass or guitar are over...and with that big money you made overseas I'm sure you can swing a good set of nut files...
A few larger pictures would be cool as my Walgreen's glasses probably let a lot of the detail slide by.
And keep your head down short time.
Happy Trails

It is a knock off, a fake, or as some put it, a tribute... I finally got to work it out thru my lil Marshall. It will need a total electronics overhaul, which I expected anyway.. Bottom line, I like it. It has good frets, and with the upgrades I made to the hardware it plays nice and has great sustain. I won a set of GFS pats (crunchy)on ebay, and will research how I will wire them in.. Other then that, Im freezing.. On the road for vacation so I will try to get better pic asap
