I am new to this forum, and as being new I certainly don't want to step on any toes here but I do have a question that I have been dying to ask. Please keep in mind my intention is not to "harm" PRS company with this question, I simply am a curious fellow.
Q: If anyone has a 513 rosewood PRS, can they take a digital image (preferebly a close -up) of the electronics that reside in the cavity. Also, if anybody in this forum understands electronics and can draw up accurate schematics, can someone e-mail me (or post) up the schematic for the 513.
I have called up PRS and they would not distribute the schematic to me saying the pickups are "cutting edge", which no doubt they are. My intent is not to expunge all of their secrets (actually this is not possible because we will never know how they wire their pickups). Rather I am interested in the wiring, nothing else. I do not think I am "over-stepping" my legal bounds with this question, considering ANYONE who owns one, can open it up and draw up the schematic for it. I think the instrument is so new, knowbody has done this yet. I could be wrong.
Again, my intent is not to "harm" or hurt PRS in any way. I love the company and the instruments they make. I simply don't want to spend $6,000 on an instrument I know very little about. I am curious about the wiring scheme inside this instrument as it is very unique (i think).
