Hello!
This is my first post here.
So, my story starts when I was 16 I got my first electric guitar. A left-handed Samick. If i remember it's like a yv-150 or something like that.
Anyways, it has one bridge hum and two single coils. Nice guitar. But I thought I could add rca inputs way back when.
Anyways, I screwed up my electronics. I re-wired them many times over the years but now it does not work, and I'm not %100 sure how to redo it.
Basically, the wires coming off the pickups are fine but cut off when they come into the cavity for the electronics.
I've looked at basic schematics but I'm not %100 sure how to do this. I can solder, the pots and switchs are all there. I'm just not %100 sure where to solder.
So I was wondering if someone here could help me out. I can post pictures tonight when i get home. I just need to know where which wire goes etc, or any advice on finding out how to do it.
I used to just guess and stuff when doing it but i want to fix it well this time.
I don't have the money to take it in anywheres.
Thank you for reading my post
-Shawn

thank you again wesman, I checked out the schematic again and it looks very similar to my setup.
The only problem was up until recently all the wires were connected to the pickup selector, but some have come off. But now with the diagram i should have no problems!
take care,
-Shawn
