Vintage Voicing and Switcheroo

Hi!

I'm new here, this is my first message.

First of all, excuse me for my crappy english, I speak spanish

The vintage voicing and the switcheroo are used in some Tom Anderson guitars.

I'd like to do that to one of my guitars, but I don't know how Is it too hard for a begginer?

Do you guys know how to wire a Switcheroo system? I understand how it works, and I know this must be difficult to do, but not impossible. I'd like to do this to a guitar I'm building.

Welcome to the boards.
I'd say that the "Vintage Voicing" modification would produce very subtle changes and I'd think it not worth the trouble of doing all that work.
The "Switcheroo" modification seems much more worth your time. With a humbucker, Series / Parallel / Coil Cut are very noticeable changes. (You don't have to use the specific "Switcheroo" circuit, either).
I'd go to this menu
and read the sections on "Series Parallel" switching and "To Phase Or Not To Phase"

If you want to test the Vinatge Voicing idea, just put a 470k resistor across your output. That plus a 500k pot, will (near enough) make the pickups think they are feeding into a 250k pot. See if you can hear a difference, although I think Wolf will be proved right that it would be very slight at most. If you liked it for the single coil however, just permanently fix it across the single coil wire conections, before the switches. That way, with the single coil off, the resistor doesnt affect the humbucker.
