hi. I have a telecaster with 3 pickups wired as a strat. with a 5 way switch. this is what i want to do. I would like to put in a 3 way switch for the neck and bridge pickups. i would like to add another vollume control for the center pickup alone. I have the diagram from seymour dunkan how to do this. But I got thinking i leave my tone control all the way up all the time. so why not just use my tone control for a volume for the center pickup, or put another volume control in place on the tone control. Is this posible? if i remove the tone control will this be the same as the tone control turned up high or low? How to i remove the tone control and keep full tone without it? Thank you.

Welcome to the GN-2, guitartom!
haven't looked at the SD diagram you referred to, but if your old tone pot is the same value as the pot you want to use for the mid volume, you're home free.
just omit the tone pot and cap from the circuit and it's like full range (no treble-cut)
