Your Staff has tried various means of combatting them, but so far it seems as though the cure is worse than the disease. For that reason we've restored the Registration procedure to our usual method - merely sign up and activate your new account via email, and you can post immediately.

As to spam itself, if you come across it, please keep in mind that the Staff can't be online 24x7, so it's possible that an hour or two might pass before it's deleted, and the poster treated to a free, up close-and-personal meeting with Mjolnir. Thanks for your patience.
