Based on the cut-outs in the Mustang, the Strat Noiseless Bridge and Neck PUs will have to 'faced' each other instead of connection points being turned the same way. For proper phasing, will hot and ground of one PU have to be reversed?

Thanks Mike. On the Noiseless PU the 'G' string pole is elevated on both bridge and neck PU. When I mount the neck PU rotated 180 degrees, the elevated pole will now be under the 'D'. Is this going to create a problem. I really don't have any choise, except for routing out the body and I don't want to do that. The Noiseless are also provided with 3 pots, one 500 K and two 1 meg. There are also some discrete resistors and a couple of capacitors. My Mustang has 250 k pots for both volume and tone with one cap on the tone pot. I assuming I don't need the other cap and discrete resistor. Do I need to replace the volume or tone pots with new ones. If so, what values for volume and one. I'm not familiar with the Strat but the diagram provided with the PUs shows a 500 K for the 'top' pot and 1 Meg for the two lower pots. Are the two lower pots on the Strat volume pots and top tone?
Thanks in advance,
Billy

Update: I called the Fender Hot Line and they said rotating the neck pickup resulting the extended pole piece being under the D-string is not an issue. He recommended using the standard Mustang pots, check out the tonal qualities and then experiment with the 500 K and 1 meg pots to see if the sound fits your personal taste better.

I got the Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups installed on my Mustang and they sound great. Extemely quiet! I'm going to experiment with the height some but otherwise, I love them. The covers are pretty tight in the pickguard cut-outs. The 'aged white' covers also look good against the crushed pearl pickguard and cream colored racing stripes ('70 competition Red with matching headstock).
