A friend of mine has an Esteban (yes the one on TV) acoustic-electric and wants to route a hole below the sound hole and put in a strat single coil in the bridge position. any ideas on integrating the magnetic pup into the active acoustic pickups electronics (currently a OPUS-III system)? my idea is putting a blend pot in, but i know nothing about the output of acoustic pickups vs magnetic or any of the problems that could occur there.
anyway, any thoughts on this whole idea?
