OK! I'm new here... A while back I shielded and rewired my strat using the recipe found on the guitarnutz website "quieting the beast" section which by the way, actually worked for me and I did it myself... never done that before... Now I am tired of my volume pot being so close to the bridge pickup that I hit it all the time... I like the strat better than the tele cause for what I play the tele just dont sound the same... So my quest here is to get the info on how to rewire my strat so as to eliminate the middle tone pot so I can lower my volume pot down and out of the way while running the lower remaining tone pot to all three pickups... or is this even possible... My problem is finding a wiring diagram that I can actually read or is idiot friendly... If anyone can draw or has a diagram that can be emailed to me, I'd be forever grateful... Respectfully, Me. leeskarateschool.com

let's clarify, you want : - the pot in the 2nd position (neck tone) to become the volume control
- the pot in the 3rd position (middle tone) to become a master tone
then what do you want to do (if anything?) with the pot in the 1st position? (was the volume control) U.M.

Nice find!
get to keep all the original functions, minimum wiring changes.
even if Kenpo wants to get more complicated, i'm sure there will be someone who reads this and uses it.
Bravo!
