alright when playing my guitar (gibson es 335td) through my amp (fender ultimate chorus DSP) i get a buzz. i thought it had been a guitar grounding thing at first as when i touch any metal on the guitar it silences for the most part. However when i play on any other amps there is no noise at all. i dont think it is an environment thing as there really isnt much other than a light near where i play (although i could be worng).
any thoughts?

seems like the easy way to determine if it is environmental is to either take your guitar and amp to where you were playing the other amps. if you A/B them in the same environment and get lots of buzz only on your F.U.C., then i'd say it is not environmental.

that seems to point to 3 possibilities: - there is something wrong with the F.U.C.
- the F.U.C. is not defective per se., but it's design is more susceptible to noise.
- there really is an environmental problem, and those other amps are really well designed in terms of suppressing noise.
