Hi All,
This is my first post, go easy on me! I'm trying to determine if my "homemade" wiring is in the proper order. I have 2 GFS Humbuckers wired to 2 vol, 1 tone, & 3 3-way on/on/on minis. Neck p/u to 3-way mini(ser/single/par) to push/pull vol pot(in/out phase). Repeat same for bridge. Both p/u go to 3rd 3-way mini for p/u select. I've tried 2 different ways of wiring(for ser/sing/par) and it just doesn't seem to sound right to me. There is massive hum(could just be shielding problem) and I can't hear a big difference in the settings. Are things out of order? I can post a diagram if needed, just wanted to know if there is a "order" for effects that has to be acknowledged. Thanks for any replies...
