Alright, which one of you nutz built this? What does it do? And, why haven't you built me one? This is probably stretching to include this in the effects threads, so sorry if you have to move it.

That's pretty bitchin! I would have put the input farther from the stomp switch, though. Thats just asking to contract the Wiggly Disease.

I wonder what this 'Strat box' is actually designed to do?
Maybe when you press the stomp-switch, a special circuit makes it automatically go out of tune.

That looks familiar to me. I'm pretty sure that if you scoured the Pictures thread on diystompboxes forum you'd find it. Course, it's 1185 pages long... I was gonna guess it was a Stratoblaster, but that only has one knob. Maybe somebody hacked a Tone control into it.

Course, it's 1185 pages long... ...and as has oft been said, "Google is your friend" .......the innards illustrated in the Pictures! thread at diystompboxes.com ...and one take on the construction/design... link .. ...and perhaps the 'definitive' "original"(?) design/project can be found at www.madbeanpedals.com/projects/index.html

From the same thread, for those who prefer the other side of the fence:

Ok, so on that one, when you press the stomp-switch, does the head of the guitar fall off?

^ Top knob is arrogance. Middle knob is cocaine addiction.

There is no arrogance control on these units. Having such a control would imply that there was actually a time when it was turned down . . . .
