help finding capacitor

im trying to find a .33uf(or slightly lower) 400v capacitor as it says in the quieting the beast mod, but i cant seem to. Iv tried multiple local electronic stores but no luck. any advice on what i can do to try and find one would be very appreciated.

you'll laugh!

i saw your original post. as so often happens, the link seems to be truncated. evidently something on proboards doesn't recognize the characters + and * in a hyperlink.

when you paste a link into a post, don't bother with the "insert hyperlink" button just make sure you hit enter after the link.

then preview the post.

if it chokes on a character, delete the character. preview again, and if you get the whole link showing, test by right-clicking on the link and drag down to "open link in new window".

most times the link will be successful without those + and * characters.

then close the new window and you're back to editing your post where you left off.


seems like a lot of steps, but once you get the hang of it there's less typing involved than describing how to get there.

(although it take a bit to describe how to do it!)

Either or is fine. "Underdog" simply happens to be my favorite cartoon when I was a kid. Years later when I needed a handle for the C.B. that came to mind, and then later still when I needed a screen-name it was my first choice. Well, there were about a gazillion already & I didn'want to be "Underdog2,000,000,000" so I chose PollysHero (cause Sweet Polly Purebred is both Shoe Shine Boy's and Underdog's love interest).
