In the course of trying to replace the trem arm on my Johnson JS-050, I contacted Allparts. (The arm I ordered recently didn't fit, possibly due to an additional part being needed. I guess if this stuff was too easy, it wouldn't be any fun, right?) Anyway, while I was emailing Allparts, I asked if they made or would consider making control knobs (volume knobs at least) that "go to 11." (UnklMickey, you inspired this idea.) They said they didn't have any, but thought DiMarzio did at one time. Sure enough, the DM2200 and DM2201 are numbered 0-11. They don't come in black or gold, and there don't seem to be any Strat-style ones except the 1-10 variety, but I like the idea. www.dimarzio.com/media/pdfs/hardware.pdfNigel Tufnel: What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do? Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven. Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder. -- Doug C.

I think I'm pretty sure that they'd skip the 13, though

I think I'm pretty sure that they'd skip the 13, though  I'm sure there are some "death metal" types who would absolutely have to have one of those, with skull knobs. And anywhere beyond 12, you start annoying dogs in the next county. ({Scoobie Doo mode}"Rhat the rell is rat?"{/Scoobie})
