Haha! Nice to know my ears aren't failing me.
One thing I did want to mention was the tone control. It wirked in the opposite direction and was acting strange the first time I wired it all up.
I ended up changing the to have the grounded cap on the right lug, signal to the center with the left lug open. Not sure if I read the Schematic wrong, but it seems my diagram is incorrect.

With a proper pot and the end lugs reversed, not only would the direction of rotation be opposite but the clockwise end would be very switch-like. Abruptly changing from not much treble cut at "9" to full cut at "10". I'm interested in your opinion of the most usable combinations after you've had time to work with it for a while. If you have time, give us a shout in a couple of weeks.
