whatever happened to kyle kiimh

kyle was a sight to see i dunno what he looked like from the neck down but he took a great headshotmy daddy told be all about him before i membered up here so i went looking for his posts and threads they all seemed real good to me he was very nonconforist i like that because rules are for nerds who wants to live life by other peoples rules especially spelling and stuff he was always a unique speller and i think he might have been dyslexic too we shouldnt judge people for not following the rules i dont like capitalization and punctuation i dont like unnecessary spaces and carriage returns does that make me a bad person i dont think so these are some quotes one is from kyle the other is about kyle they give you some idea what kind of guy he was but you gotta read all his stuff to get the full effect

No person should have to wait longer than, mmmm, five years to get a response ... if we, an important and respected resource on the net, can't respond to every person within five years - no matter who they are, what they need, why they're here, or where they're from - then we have failed them.

If some lady named Anna, inquiring about antennae, because she needs an answa ... whether she's inquiring from Ghana or Georgiana, Alabama ... well, OHANA!

As much as we rip on Kyle, I am envious of his potential for success in the political arena...

For those new to the Forum, KIIMH, or Kyle, was the humorous alter-ego of D2o, one of our early active members. Unfortunately, personal life required D20 to cease his participation on the Board, and so we lost Kyle as well.

"KIIMH" was his second title, standing for "Kyle is in my head". "Kyle" being the Board-friendly euphemism for a 4-letter word meaning "excrement". Thus, "sh*thead".

He was originally "Kyle Head" until I pointed out to D2o that there was an actual person named "Kyle Head" who had some reknown as an actor. I "suggested" he change his alter ego's name so as not to offend, potentially, this person. D2o then changed it from "Kyle Head" to "Kyle is in my head", or "KIIMH".

This also takes us back to the previous version of ProBoard's software, which allowed users to "exalt" another user, when then gave the user a "karma point". The user profile that appeared then had a running total of "karma points" below the username. Conversely, the "smite" button deleted one karma point from the user's total.

The unwritten Rule here at G-Nutz2 was that one could "exalt" users for good posts, but the "smite" button was never allowed- with Kyle being the exception to that rule.

To our collective chagrin, the "exalt" and "smite" features went away when PB revised their software, so much of the above discussion may not make sense to newcomers who were unaware of that former feature.
