The floyd's screws/bolts are so soft I can destroy them with the alen key holding it by the short edge. The ceramic measures some unexpected 6.37 Kohm, specs said smth around 5-6 KOhm. Neck/Mid Alnico measure some also unexpected 5.5 Kohm, specs said 6-7. And Bridge pup ... does not measure anything cause this is broken.
I just wasted 40 EUR. I dont think I am gonna experiment with those at all, expect maybe stripping the ceramic to use it as a coil to make my current ceramics noiseless.

You bought a Fleor Floyd Rose? 5.5 for Fleor AlNiCo is what I measured from my Fleor AlNiCo set. I think I wound up installing them into a guitar anyway, for the novelty of such a low wound AlNiCo 5 pickup. They're not underwound to the point of sounding bad. Unfortunately the plastic bobbins make them less ideal for a base to wind your own pickups, because the eyelets melt real easy when you try to solder to them, but they should work OK as a dummy coil. I had bad results when I tried to use a second coil as a dummy, though. It put too much load on the primary.

You bought a Fleor Floyd Rose? Unfortunately, quality didn't get any better after all those Chinese-booming years. They could charge twice and have a decent product. But this??? this is a joke. 5.5 for Fleor AlNiCo is what I measured from my Fleor AlNiCo set. Thanks for the kind words, but my money is lost, there is no way this garbage touches any of my guitars. Yes, sometimes good things happen, just not this time.

I really wonder who the market is for that super cheap hardware. Even if it's destined for "emerging markets", I'd imagine that those customers would be just as aggravated with hardware that strips out and doesn't fit correctly when you try to set it up.

Just couldn't help it, I did the dummy coil experiment! Leaving work, I just threw the Fleor package to the corner, having in mind that either I'll return the stuff or just throw them away, but gave it another thought, knowing tomorrow I have a day off due to the visit at the kids highschool, and last minute I just put that ceramic in my pocket in case I try the experiment. The first tests failed miserably. Till I found a spot at the back of the guitar. I extended the hot lead, cutting it in half and then added extensions, passing the extensions to the trem cavity. I tested both polarities, till I settled down in what I believed sounded best. Just tested it and it is .... GREAT!!! I love the tone!! Almost like humbucker, and with tons of mids! I'll definitely have to do a test with the mod and without, in the same spot, conditions, time of the day. 2018-02-13_10-30-17 by panixgr, on Flickr

You might try putting the magnet back on, flipping the pickup over and positioning it close enough to sense the springs. You might get some "free reverb" in the process.

did some more tests... freaking placebo effect... this mod, depending on the position or the polarity might have the following effects :
- always the vol/ton pots do not work. Vol at 0 does not cut the sound. I am too lazy to do the maths, but this sucks - either will growl like a pig, worse than before or only slightly be somewhat quieter
Overall this sucks.... If only it was so easy.
sorry for the noise ppl.... consider that I didn't write this.

They refunded the tremolo, 20 USD out of the 25 total. So I paid 5 USD for this pile of parts I am never gonna use. Lets see whether they'll refund the pickups set.
I have my old pickguard with the fast tracks and the chopper, I think this is the time to put it back to the guitar.

New take : 2018-02-14_04-26-24 by panixgr, on Flickr Now the extra coil is parallel to the actual existing pups, the base is facing outwards, and the pole pieces are attached to the trem block. Still prone to high frequency noise (e.g. near old laptop, etc..) but otherwise, nearly no hum!! I mean its hum-bucking ability in low freq noise is just a tad worse than EMG 81 (which is one of the noisiest HBs I have (and generally exist), due to the imbalance of the coils). It's not so practical, as you can see, but still a keeper I am pleased with the result. Perpendicular to the existing active coils it just does nothing, or adds more noise.

The best part is that its a piece of cake to make a before/after clip showing the results, or even better stick a switch somewhere there for true Single Coil <-> humbucking transition. The fact that the extra coil is after the circuitry, just before the output jack, is something of concern. This might explain why the wierdo effects, I mean still having signal even with the vol to zero. Maybe I need >500KOhm pots or smth for this.

Ouch, I'm sorry I got you into this crap, man. man read the other review!!! No need to feel sorry!! On the contrary !!! I got it ALL sorted out. A little scratching and solder solved the problem with the bridge pup. Fantastic sound from the alnicos! I aint going back to the dimarzio pickguard anytime soon! as far as the trem is concerned, I'll try it out in the upcoming days I hope.
