That button is a product of the Simple Image Upload (SIU) plug-in. It's appropriately named. - Few things are more Simple and easy to use than this button.
- The only type of file it will accept is an Image
- It allows you to Upload an image directly from your computer or from a weblink. The necessary tags to display that image drop right into your post.
There isn't much explanation needed. Many of you have begun using it without even being told it existed. However, in the event there are questions, this thread has been created to facilitate them. Also, if any of you would like to share your knowledge of one of the limited number of features, I might add a mini-tutorial to the OP from the information you provide.

ziggystardust723what i do is upload to an image host, copy the url for the .jpg and then paste it inside [ img ] [ /img ] tags (no spaces). can be a pain in the derriere but it works. you could also view the site in desktop mode and use the add image button, but it's definitely not optimized for mobile browsers

Hello, - 'Take the url of the picture' > but it's not with 'url' when it's in my phone in 'Photos', = what can I do.? - Ziggy . For a couple of quick images, you can use a free hosting service like this one: imgbb.com/uploadYou can upload from your mobile phone, then find the link with a full url that it will create for your image. You can copy and paste the link that is called ''BBCode full linked'' into your post. Thats ok for something quick, and you dont need an account, but like anything free you cant rely on it to stay there forever. A better free service is Cloudinary

What button? I cant see any button/icon on the page for pics or from a dropdown. "That button is a product of the Simple Image Upload (SIU) plug-in." Seems its not so easy Retread as the following messages from Ziggy... ('..pain in the derriere' he says), and the French guy asks. So i'ld like to up/download a few pics to a question i have - How do i do it? Thanks. And its ALOT easier on StratTalk!

What button? I cant see any button/icon on the page for pics or from a dropdown. As I told you two weeks ago, the plugins don't work on the mobile version of ProBoards. If you want to take advantage of the advanced features, you'll need to switch to Desktop mode. Although we are no longer using the SIU plugin, we have replaced that with the "Postimage Upload" plugin. But again, to use that you must switch to desktop mode.

Click on 'aA' on left of main website bar, from the dropdown click on 'switch to desktop', turn fone sideways to see icons better, click on 'postimage upload' to upload pic from fone (or computer) to website forum.
