It's made by Washburn. 3/4 scale. I believe the body shape is Wasburn's 'Idol' series, which may be Supro inspired.
I acquired it for about £10.
My original intention was to use this it as a donor for a sitar-guitar project, but plans changed when I designated a different donor guitar for that purpose. So instead I went for standard electric but with extra, piezo functionality. Plus it has an electrified 'percussion pad' behind the bridge.
Below are photos of the final thing.
Summary and work undertaken:
guitar completely gutted, and sanded down.
refinished. repainted body.
all new hardware and parts throughout.
electrified 'percussion pad'.
all new wiring.
hybrid magnetic/piezo guitar. separate circuits
new bridge pickup, with a special five-sound switch.
momentary kill switch push button.
three piezo discs located in different places (including one in neck pocket), with individual on/off rocker switches for 7 switching permutations.
