Photo from 1728.org Bass Tone
looking at this and thinking how can make it do more for the space, the most you got is 1P12T what would give you 11 Different tones and a ByPass, but also means 11 Caps So i looked at a 16 way switch with 5 Input/Output and playing around see what i could dow with 3 Caps all linked together, changing the point of Input/Output's along then line Got about 14 different types, so added another cap over the whole lot, shunting the values up by one value means i got 15 values (some a bit same ) and a Bypass So a Design i have for a Log Capacitor Switch, in this case (tho will need to change as values dont suit what you can get in Caps) 1nF-22nF, with 14-15 Different Values and Bypass and
To Explain the Colours Above, GREEN was ONE I/O and RED was the other I/O (Pins D and E) ABC where the Legs in between the CAPS, Blue/Black where Direct LINKS to each other (to by pass a cap) Light Green was used for when it didnt matter if it was Green/White (Blank). The WHITE O where VIA holes to link one side of the board to the other to have Tracks go to where needed to be. Also not that Row D and B are 180' out of phase, and why things got moved around. Sadly i had to draw this in a PCB software, so Line on line of drawing at very small level so looks bad I do hope to find a Good FREE CAD Software that i can use to bring in better drawings hope to have it Made next month and after that test it out upload images

Your missing the first diagram that has the on off 6P switch. It goes in front of the varitone.

Rather, it’s an “on on” that actually places the varitone into cut mode.
