I am looking at doing a strange Resistor Switch. But the Resister ARRAY is very complex and i cant calculate in my head. I think there is 62 combinations, (but some will double) just got to figure out which resisters come to play with any one of the SIX switches A-F.. X bypasses the whole thing. >NOTE I'm on LINUX MINT [ubuntu]<

those are some odd resistor values

Interesting, but what are you really trying to do?
It looks like you are making a test box to set up a range of resistor values, maybe from 1 to 512 Ohms?, using 6 switches and a full bypass for zero ohms?

.... X bypasses the whole thing. Gee, in my playbook, engaging an X condition would pretty much guarantee a visit from the Environmental Protection Police, due to all the smoke your short circuit is gonna generate. Might want to re-think this one.... Not bad. What are you using to make your drawings? sumgai

The Resister Values is trying to Find out what ones react due to each switch being turned on Normally works with Summing, ie no matter how they are added up you will be able to know which ones are in play. but when its 1/x it can get a bit more complex
-------------------------
Trying to make a 16 way switch (This is 5 Inputs/Outputs with 16 Stages) do values from 250K-1M ever Rev Log or Lin, and No Resistance (ie X) as a bypass so down it to a 15 steps from 250K-1M there abouts. Just playing around to see if i can replace the C1M in the G&L Bass Circuit (POT) so will still have the 2n2F .
Switch A goes between I/O 1 and 2, B goes between 1 and 3 and C goes between 1 and 4 D 4 and 5, E 3 and 5, F 2 and 5 X goes between 1 and 5, tho Switch A&F, B&E and C&D do the same, just there for show.
-------------------------
X because it KILLS the whole circuit, dosnt need it, just for show for people, the other switches can replace X and will do any way
Drawn on EasyEDA (online tho the Download version dose work)
