Can someone help me out with this stupid question? I thought once I saw a diagram of a cocked Wah mini toggle. I’ve been looking for it to no avail. Do anyone in the group remember that? Help?

Only one I recall was for a Mustang slide switch, repurposing one of the tone switches for the "cocked Wah" setting. guitarnuts2.proboards.com/thread/7838As I recall the discussions we have had re: cocked wah sounds, there were two versions, the "Bill Lawrence mod" and the "Eldred mod". Googling either or both of these, with "AND cocked wah" might yield some more info for you.

Thanks Newey, I have looked on the internet and can’t find the Arlo version on the toggle and I know it was posted a long time ago by a fella - and it was wrong because Retread? Or one of the other supervisors of the Board corrected it in a pen and ink drawing. I’m still looking on the Board.

Not certain if the switch pic will come through but here they are for anyone else interested. This brings me to a larger point of discussion, I know the admins are working on a repository of wiring diagrams. I have hundreds. If the other means of building the library does not pan out, I’m sure the group could build a new library that was indexed for quick reference. Just an idea.

Both diagrams look fine, but whether the combination of resistors/caps in fact gives the "cocked wah" effect, I dunno, never tried it.
As for posting diagrams for reference by others, if you have built this and it works to your satisfaction, you can (and should) repost it in the "modules" section of the "schematics" sub-board.
As far as reposting other of your diagrams, we welcome diagrams or schematics (and preferably, both) of interesting or unique designs, posted in the schematics board, or one of its sub-boards, as the case may be. Diagrams posted there should, however have been either independently vetted for accuracy, or that have been built, and thereby verified.
But I suspect that a huge data dump of hundreds of diagrams will include a lot of duplication of what has already been posted. I think the better course of action would be to be selective, and repost only those diagrams that seem likely to be unique, or which have some particular feature.
If, however, it is simply a matter of needing a repository or archive of your material, we may be able to do something along the lines you suggested. But in the meantime, feel free to share your (selected/curated) diagrams in the appropriate sub-boards.

Newey, thanks, will do with the diagrams. The Cocked Wah Mod sounds like a Wah in the middle position, a compressed tone that I find to be grimey and squeezed. Of course one can do such with a pedal; however, I find the switch or pot version to be nastier.
