Hello guys!
I have a questions regarding the Slide Switches usually used for Mustang, Duosonic, Jazzmaster and Jaguar.
Does this need to be make-before-break switch or not?
I see 2 options from switchcraft and I cannot decide which one to get.
What's the best option and what's the main difference?
Thank you!

In a passive guitar, either will work but make-before-break is preferred. If used on the output of some poorly designed active circuits, break-before-make is mandatory. Make-before-break will have the next set of contacts connected before the contacts from the previous position are disconnected. This 'shorting' action won't damage passive pickups and tends to produce less switching transients when the switch is in motion from one position to the nexts.
