Hi guys,
As most of you know, i am about to try the wiring that Yogi B drew for me. It's this one:
I have read some comments on talkbass.com forum about blend pots. It got me confused. Apparently there are ungrounded and grounded variations of blend pot wirings. Which one is this one that i will be using?
I want the pickups to sound as vintage as possible when the s1 is not engaged. Should i go grounded or ungrounded? And why?
Also, should i modify the pot to make it a no load pot to prevent it from putting additional load on the pickups, thus effecting the tone?
What would you guys choose to do in this situation?
Sorry if this is too many questions but It's hard to read technical stuff in English that i probably wouldn't be able to easily understand even if they where in my native language. So thanks in advance for all your help.
