I got a box of random guitar parts, mostly pots caps and pickups. In this box I found some of these things, like a lot with a little circuit board on the back. Can someone please tell me what it is and what I can use it for? -Thanks in advance photos.app.goo.gl/3gwVTCm3Ezy5Mbxd8

Hello and Welcome to G-Nutz2!
Not sure what it is, but if I had to guess, I'd say it's an onboard effect circuit of some sort, controlled by the pot. Or perhaps just an active preamp of some sort. I'm guessing the red wire is meant to go to a 9V battery for power, and that the other wires connect it to the circuit.
Some additional photos, particularly to show the various components on the circuit board, would probably be helpful to be more specific.

Ponyboy, That’s what it is, it’s an onboard effect, I know because a friend and I made a similar one on a dual gang where the carbon track is replaced with a pcb board with a track and components. Given the smd IC on it, it is most likely a distortion circuit or a booster circuit given it’s complexity is minimal. Ours is not an active pot like you have in the photo. But a similar concept regarding creating a replacement track on a board that then works with smd components on the sweep of the pot.
