This is a bass layout you can use if you don't fancy a blend pot or the twin volume controls in basses with the P + J configuration. The caps and resistor are variable but using a 5nF capacitor on the bridge pickup on position 6 is most consistent with various Rickenbacker models giving the trebly sound. The cap and resistor in positions 2 and 4 is according to taste but between 33nF and 47nF along with a 10-20K resistor gives a variation in sound that seems to emulate the J-pickup sound, without introducing an extra push pull switch to change the P pickup from a series to parallel configuration. Doing it this way as well also negates a need to use a 4P6T switch which takes up more space if you are using an Alpha rotary switch. Lugs are 1-6 clockwise.

Nicely done! While I think most of us will understand your diagram, you might number the lugs for clarity, and also specify that this uses a DP6T Rotary switch, as someone who is less knowledgable may come along and not "get it". But I like the overall idea of nixing the blend pot or dual vols, I've always thought pickup switching was better when done without the need to twist a knob.

Do you know anywhere I could get this 6 way switch created? Or if there is a video explaining how to do it?
