I'm basing my wiring off of this, but have a 7 lug import switch Front Back. I've tried a few different configurations, but in each one I get nothing when in position 1 or 5. With this current setup position 2 & 3 sound the same, 4 seems to just be the humbucker, and the tone knobs seem inactive. Is my wiring way off, or could it be a bad switch? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

tweedice: Hello and Welcome to G-Nutz2!I fixed the link to the diagram, but we can't see your images. You can't direct-link to images here, they need to be hosted elsewhere. There's a tutorial on how to post images hereThe sketch you supplied of your wiring doesn't help much, I can't see the connections as the diagram is too small.

Thanks for the feedback newey. The upload img button just spins. So, I'm using the bottom diagram of this, but using a 7 lug import, using this as a guide. Here is a better shot of my switch.

OK, the photo doesn't show the 7 lugs of your switch, and it doesn't resemble the 7-lug import-style switches I've seen. Did you verify the switch connections with a multimeter before you wired it up? My suspicion here is that your switch differs from the diagram you are using.

I need to get a multimeter. I'm just guessing it's a 7 lug import. I really can't find anything exactly like it online. Here's a better shot. The lugs are labeled 1-7. Thanks

I'm pretty sure that what you have is a version of the Eyb/Schaller Megaswitch type E (original / no plus / non v3.0). Which I think unfortunately means that it isn't be suitable for the wiring scheme you're planning, as the Megaswitch E was designed with the intention of providing bridge and neck in the centre switch position. (See Schaller's schematics and ChrisK's post detailing the switching logic.)
