Hi everyone, it is my first time installing the 10-position free-way switch and I have encountered some difficulty with the wiring. One position is acting weird and would welcome any input. I am using the default wiring scheme (page 1 of the PDF with 3 single coil pickups and 1V+2T found here) which means: pos. 1-5 = standard strat pos. 6 = bridge + middle in series; pos. 7 = all three in parallel; pos. 8 = Neck + bridge in series; pos 9 = Neck + bridge in parallel; and pos. 10 = neck + middle in series. I have double checked everything and all the other positions work fine: the only problem is that position 6 is just the bridge single coil alone (i.e. position 6 is the same as position one). Do you think the problem is with my wiring -- or do you think something is wrong with the physical switch? Thanks in advance for your input!

lesz- Hello and Welcome to G-Nutz2!Do you think the problem is with my wiring -- or do you think something is wrong with the physical switch? The likelihood is that it's your wiring, although a faulty switch is certainly possible. I'm assuming the switch was brand new? In position 6, the middle tone pot should be operable. Is it? Not much we can say about your wiring, since we can't see it. You said you had double-checked everything, but recheck your connections at lugs BT and MH.
