Hello: I don't know if this simple switch has been sugested before. If so, administrators please delete this. This simple switch (that can be incorporated into any 3 pickups guitar) would work as a "Telecaster Mode" switch. In any position of the Pickup selector, when you activate this switch, the guitar would go into a Bridge+Neck combination. I think this may be specially usefull for Strats of any kind and for HSH guitars. Nonetheless, this "Telecaster Mode" would be a little noisy if you don't have noiseless pickups. Postimages.org seems to be down, so you can download the image here: Telecaster Mode Switch

Unfrotunately, I can't get the page to load for your link- it just churns.
While I'm sure similar things have been done, I don't recall this specifically. In any event, we don't delete stuff just because it may be duplicative.

I can see the switch diagram ok, thanks for posting.
So operating the switch cuts output from the 5-way, and also combines B with N and sends that to the output.
One issue if using a normal 5-way may be that although the 5-way output is cut off, it is still combining B with M or N with M in positions 2 and 4, so in those settings, M will also come through mixed with B and N when the new switch is added.
A more common way to switch in the B+N sound is with a Neck-on or Bridge-on switch.

Oh, what a failure of mine! Thank you for your reply, John.
I guess this is unusefull compared to the Gilmour mod. In order to make my design, a 4PDT could be used, then. Neck and Bridge could be stopped from going to the selector when the switch is activated with a 4PDT.
I'll draw it when I have some spare time, just for the shake of completion. But taking into account that 4PDT switches are not found attached to guitar pots (with the notable exception of the expensive Fender S1), I consider this design a failure.
Thank you!

All good Carlos! I like your designs and how you present them very much.
But on this idea, maybe there is a way with a two-pole switch, if on the pickup side of the 5-way instead of on the output side.
Both poles are joined to each other, and linked to the usual M input lug on the 5-way.
In normal position, one or both connect M to the M switch lug for normal operation.
In Tele mode, one side goes to B and one to N. M is now disconected, and B and N are joined, and every 5-way setting is now B+N.

This is a good option for the strat player. I've previously used the below to utilise an N + B option in a strat although the drawback is that you can't simply go from any position straight to that Tele sound.
