Hello, I just purchased the American Pro II HSS and I wanted the freeway 10 Way so I could get the benefit of the the SSS American Pro 2. on the push push it uses the neck and Bridge pick up. However, on the HSS version it is instead used either split the coil, I saw on the schematics that one of the position splits the coil anyway. I don't want this to interfere with or negate my push push feature. What's another creative way to go about this? And how would I do that?

Hi improvilosopherWithout seeing the diagrams for the guitars in question, that's impossible to answer. I don't know if diagrams are available for the American Professional II series. For what it's worth, here are links to the diagrams for the SSS and HSS American Professional Strats (the earlier series) SSS and HSSInteresting 5-way switch employed by both. www.stratcat.biz/007-8776-000.shtmlApparently it has the traditional 2-pole switch with a second wafer that has a 2P5T switch, similar to a superswitch. Unfortunately neither of these diagrams have a push-push on the second tone pot. So these don't help for your question.
