Very Simple Overdrive Circuit

Last night I build an overdrive pedal for a good friend’s son’s birthday tomorrow.  I wanted to put something together quick and better than my last circuit “Cindi’s Nightmare.”  I found another Electra variation by Joe Davison and I further modded it by changing resistor and cap values, adding an on/on diode selector, a volume and a tone.  For what it is, it turned out really well.  I’m posting it for others that, like me, are learning how to build pedals.  I forgot in the diagram to put the stomp switch in. 🙀
