Let me put it this way, RT- I really really love my wife, but she's not getting an LP either. WHAT? When it comes to diplomacy, it's all about the details. He didn't say she isn't worthy of one, only that she isn't getting one. Big difference, right? |

The LP Deluxe wasn't on her list. Probably because she doesn't play.
But I did buy the things that were on the list, including WeatherTech floor liners for her pickup and the perfume she likes.

Those floor liners're gonna come in handy in that doghouse. Even better if the doghouse gets an amp, pedalboard, cables, guitar stand and DAW. 'Course you'll need to add a room onto it to fit all this. And then, since it's gonna be all rigged up nice, you might as well throw in a new LP Deluxe. She'll be thrilled! |

And newey, 🤪 you’ve got to be extra careful when adding a room onto her pickup. Too tall and she’ll collide with bridges; to wide and driving will become not good. So, this room will probably require her to duck her head and she should definitely be claustrophobic inside it. 😔 |

Speaking in literal terms, you're correct. However, my intent was that it's her guitar, he just plays it to show her how it's supposed to be done. To Un-Gumbo this thread...
- A quality set of metric and imperial/standard allen keys
- A quality set of screwdrivers...flat and phillips
- Wall hanger for guitar or bass
- An assortment of full neck pocket shims. Yes, they make them...and yes, you all probably all need one...or more depending on your G.A.S. issues...
To Re-Gumbo it...
Use an old fertilizer bag for a stocking and ask for a new case...

I know, ...I'm in everyone's bad books because I've been ignoring this thread.. The ideal stocking stuffer? A set of air guitar strings...universal gauge and they NEVER go out of tune... ....but if they DO for some unknown reason, include a clip-on air guitar tuner, just in case. Glad to be of help...sorry for the break. ..will be in touch, sg...been busy with stuff.  |
