I don't know, exactly... I noticed it too, but we really need that link, I think for new recruits... perhaps I'll toss an e-mail John's way.

yeah, even if hae doesn't want this to be the "official guitar nuts" board, a link would be useful. if nothing else, people need to know where to go when they get stuck w/ John's schematics, etc.

as a third-party observer, i can't say authorotatively. but, i think probably not. i don't understand that "hijack" reference. as i understand it, some smarmy little hacker destroyed the original forum. John A. didn't want to bother with building a new one, as it was a lot of work, and he felt his time was better spend on other things. seems reasonable. the way i understand it, R.H. had John A's blessing in creating this new forum. and until recently John A had a link in his site to GN2. as far as why the link was dropped, rather than speculate whether John A made an oversight in the most recent iteration of his site, or if it was intentional, maybe we should just wait for R.H. to get a response from John A? unk

maybe we should just wait for R.H. to get a response from John A? Works for me. I'm glad, though, that J.A. did have that link from his site to here. I might've been flailing around in the darkness without all the help I've gotten here.

I think the best option now would be "let's just wait for JA's answer" ;D.

And JA's answer has come down, the removal of the link was inadvertent. He still loves his children. =D
He's gonna put it back up whenever he's got the time.
