I just got 4 new pots for my LP style guitar. This will be my first time wiring a guitar.
I measured the pots resistance as: 493k, 526k, 489k, & 528k. My question is: should I match the vols to each other or match the vol and ton of each p/up? In other words, should I have one p/up use the 526k and 528k and the other p/up the 493k and 489k or should I use the 520s for vol and the 490s for tone? Or is there a better way to mix and match.....or am I over thinking this?
Thanks.

or am I over thinking this? Pretty much. If you had pots in pairs that were hugely different say, 700k and 300k, I'd suggest using the larger values for the tone pots and the smaller value for the volume pots. But with values that are so close, it really doesn't matter at all.
