Zollner's new German-language book dedicated to pickups

Manfred Zollner has just announced a new book, Physik des Magnettonabnehmers, dedicated to magnetic pickups. It has 10 chapters (287 pages). With some expansion of the pickup material in Physics of the Electric Guitar*. The book is hardcopy- and German-only at this stage by the look of it. Hopefully it will be less than a decade for an English translation like with Physics of the Electric Guitar.

For those of us who don't understand German and are thus suffering serious FOMO , youtube's subtitles/closed-captions combined with setting auto-translate to English (or your preferred language) can make the materials understandable ... if you can read between the lines and interpret YT's more obvious mis-translations. Some web-based PDF translate tools also do a reasonable job on the (short) German PDFs on Zollner's website.
