Nchstp, I would advise not using cloth wire for the setup. Much easier to color code it.

I ended up getting a custom built set of pups so I won't need to implement a volume switch after all. Just the pots!
Thank you!

Damn, I was going to use cloth. Maybe not so much anymore. Nchstp, I would advise not using cloth wire for the setup. Much easier to color code it.

Hey Nichstp😸😸,
I wire everyday and I think I would go mad if I had to use cloth wire on that particular wiring. Once again, (I talk about this a lot), silicone wire works great because it does not burn.

Hey everybody,
So i'm making a guitar inspired by the red special and also wanted to get in on this added functionality, but with simplified controls.
I was thinking of having a pickup bladeswitch selector and then a push-push pot for getting all pickup combinations instead of individual switches.
And then I'd have 6 switches for in/out of phase and series/parallel.
Would this work?

yatska- Hello and Welcome to G-Nutz2!Will the Bladeswitch be the pickup selector? And, will it select pickups like on a Stratocaster or in some other configuration? 5-way Switch? Have you already purchased the switches you are describing? We're going to need more specifics before that question can be answered. With the switching you're describing. there could be many possible schemes that would work, and many others that might not. In fact, you may not need all those switches to do what you want to do. But again, more detail of your "wish list" is needed.
