Don't ever count on me when it comes to pot orientation! I'm even worse at it than newey.
Looking back at the diagram in question it is evident that if you turn both Volumes and tones all the way in the same direction you will have either max volume and min tone, or min volume and max tone. The Vs are wired opposite of the Ts, so one of them probably should be changed.

Perhaps it's because of my advancing age, which is slowly wiping out my more recent memories while leaving the ancient stuff intact, but for whatever reason, I have an indelible picture in my mind of every drawing published by Fender on how their guitars are wired up. 1 In my minds eye, I can see with blinding clarity just exactly how Leo set up the double Tone controls on the Strat, and that keeps me from making left-handed guitarists out of right-handers. Might I suggest that absent a photographic memory, one might simply print out a copy of that drawing, and post it to the wall just above one's workbench. Perhaps in larger-than-life size, if necessary. Here's Leo's original drawing: 2HTH sumgai 1- Ditto for nearly all of their amps, up until sometime during the late '80s. After that, mush might be the best word to describe what I can recall.... 2- It turns out that Fender Support has recently revamped their posted diagrams, and everything has been "refreshed". Sad to see historical works being treated like that.

This should do the trick (subject of course to another set of eyes . . . .)

Good but are the tone pots intended to be in '50's position, after the volume? ie they are shown connected to the vol pot centre lugs.

That was the way I had it, John, but the modern wiring can certainly be used. SS, you are now going to be forced to take sides in the Great Les Paul Wiring debate, meaning, do you want the '50's style wiring or the modern wiring? There are fans of each method, as a Google search will disclose. The change is easily made if you want the modern wiring instead.

Sorry if I`m pain in the butt.

My apologies to Studiostriver for not getting back to this in a timely manner. Here's a revision with the modern wiring. Note that the sole change is that the tone controls now connect to the left-most lug on the Vol pots, instead of to the center lug. This ought to be OK, but you may want to await a final verdict from another set of eyes before handing it off to your tech.
