..... and then while reviewing some old messages this morning, I ran across the note for her Memorial, now a year old. (Call me the packrat....) I don't recall just when she did it, but she moved from Shoutcast to eJamming, probably 5 or 6 months before she left the building. www.ejamming.com should get you started. sumgai

Think bigger! If we can do this, write lyrics get all us talented folks to get ib rhythm some of us jump on drums. We can submit the song and story tobthe guiness book of world records as largest recording group of musicians and or largest collaberation of musicians. That would really put guitar nuts in the media for its 15 of fame!

I don't think 12 months and 5 people is much of a record. Fleetwood Mac is the only band that takes longer to make a new release...

i 'spose i can jump in
in terms of a record, finished an album for one of my bassist's other bands that has been in the making for at least four years, and rerecorded three times because it kept existing only on crashed computers

Well, THE project is still in the works as far as I'm concerned... 'tis just that I was sidetracked (as always!) with some more theory and its application.. a couple of builds/guitar updates.. and another recording project to get me familiar again with Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 (I tried SONAR LE for about 2 months and always spent the first 30 minutes of a session trying to find where all the basic options were - it's too complex for me; even CWPA9 is too complicated.. but anyhoo).. Still, the couple of recording projects (and my experiments with a BR-80) have given me a couple of more ideas for this project... ...I'll get re-started e-ven-tu-a-lly..

Don't know how I missed this thread (Damn you, proboards). You might try FLAC files for lossless compression. They'll come in smaller than Wave, but larger than mp3. Switch should help with any format changing......... also free!! Audacity is a fine programme! So is Krystal Audio Engine. Also free, by one of the PreSonus team (I mentioned it here before, years ago. Some idiot said 'you get what you pay for', suggesting it was no good. Screw you, I thought, and didn't bother responding to such a closed, uninformed, mindless soul ). I'm afraid I haven't read all of the posts here, is there a 'Story so far' file available? I moderate a recording forum, maybe could help out, if needed........ Oh yeah, I never had problems with mp3s lining up, just with the sad quality........... Ahhh, don't worry, found the 'Story so far' He, he, he...... cool jam......
